Title Designs
Nevada began issuing a new title design on August 21, 2006. The new titles are larger and feature a 2D bar code on the front. Orange-colored Salvage Titles also include these changes.
State law requires residents to list and sign their full legal name on all DMV documents including vehicle titles. This is reflected in the new design and vehicle owners are required to list their Nevada driver's license number as well.
