Notice of Public Workshop to Solicit Comments
on Proposed Regulation
Department of Motor Vehicles
The Department of Motor Vehicles [555 Wright Way, Carson City, Nevada 89711, (775) 684-4368] is proposing the adoption of amended regulations pertaining to chapters 482 and 706 of Nevada Administrative Code. A workshop has been set to be held at the time and place below:

The purpose of the workshop is to solicit comments from interested persons on the following general topics that may be addressed in the proposed regulations:
Proposed Regulation of the Department of Motor Vehicles, LCB File No. R002-08
This is a regulation relating to the Department of Motor Vehicles, Motor Carrier Division, amending Chapters 482 and 706 of the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC). These amendments to the regulation of motor carrier vehicle registration, provide for the establishment of varying dates of registration for intrastate vehicles, make changes to existing provisions governing the registration of certain fleets of vehicles, provide administrative penalties for certain violations, and make revisions to language governing installment payments.
