Sig Jaunarajs of NDEP will discuss current
opacity regulation language, repairs to diesel engines, financial
incentives, reduced emissions, and idling restrictions.
IV.
Adele Malone of NDEP will present a briefing
of the Subcommittee on HDD Emission Control Strategies and updates on NAC
and NRS amendments, the recent regulation changes for HDD opacity
standards and on the BDR for 8,500-14,000 GVWR diesels in the I/M Program.
V.
Lloyd Nelson will discuss forming a Working
Group to complete a Comprehensive Review of the N.A.C.’s under Chapter
445B to propose modifications as necessary.
