PAHRUMP DMV OFFICE TO MOVE 

The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles is moving its field services branch office in Pahrump this week.

No DMV services will be available in Pahrump on Wednesday, July 27th, to enable workers to move and set up the new office efficiently. The new Pahrump DMV will open Thursday, July 28th at 1780 East Basin Ave., four blocks from the old office.

The new Pahrump office, with seven employees, will be a triple-wide manufactured building until permanent facilities are built. One advantage to the move is the new location offers more parking for customers. 

The Department encourages Pahrump residents with pending DMV business to complete it before the closure on July 27th. Additionally, many transactions can be completed on the Internet or by mail. Visit the DMV web site at www.dmvnv.com.
