  DMV will conduct remote sensing of vehicle emissions

What:           DMV Remote Sensing of Vehicle Emissions

Who:            Nevada DMV Emissions Control Section

Why:            To Help Improve Air Quality in the Las Vegas Valley

The Department of Motor Vehicles will be conducting remote testing of vehicle emissions at five locations over five days next week.  Special equipment will measure the emissions from each passing vehicle.  The department will notify owners of failing vehicles, which will have to be retested and, if necessary, repaired.
