The
installation of new counters at the Sparks DMV Express office, 790 N. McCarran,
on Tuesday, June 25 and the Reno DMV Express office, 180 W. Peckham Lane, on
Thursday, June 27 will limit services at those offices on those days.
Limited
services will only last for one day at each office. The office will be able only
to issue forms and 10-day movement permits.
Motorists
with registration or drivers license renewals will need to visit the other
express office or the full service DMV at 305 Galletti Way.
The
DMV is replacing high stand-up counters with lower counters where the customer
will sit while being served. The
new counters are designed to improve safety, comfort and handicapped
accessibility.
