Henderson DMV Office Closed Due to Heat
Customers and Employees Routed to Other Offices

An air-conditioning failure at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles office in Henderson forced managers to close the facility at approximately 1:30 this afternoon. The indoor temperature exceeded 100 degrees in the office at 1399 American Pacific Dr.

Customers were given the option of visiting another DMV office or obtaining a Return Pass for the Henderson branch. Employees were sent to the other three DMV offices in Las Vegas.

As of 2:30 p.m., it is unknown whether the Henderson office will reopen on Tuesday, July 3^rd.
