DMV Expands Hours for Customer Service Phone Room

Customer service technicians available from 7:00am-5:00pm

Motorists who call the DMV's toll free hot line at 1-877-DMV-STAT (1-877-368-7828) will now be provided an extra hour of service. DMV officials changed the start time for answering customer calls from 8:00am to 7:00am. Phone service will now be available for customers from 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Customers can also bypass the recorded information by pressing 6 on their touch tone phone keypad, which will connect them directly to a technician.

DMV phone room technicians are available to answer general information questions on topics such as: drivers license, registration, titles, insurance verification, or the technician can connect the customer to a specific person or section within the DMV branch.

DMV technicians staffing the phone room answer between 1300 and 1500 customer calls per day.
